Step-by-Step Guide to Download and Use a DNG File in Lightroom Mobile
 
Step 1: Download the DNG File
 
1. Find a direct download link for the DNG file (on a website or from an email).
 
 
2. Tap the Download button.
 
 
3. The file will automatically save in your Downloads folder (Android) or Files app (iPhone).
 
Step 2: Import the DNG File into Lightroom Mobile
 
1. Open Lightroom Mobile.
 
 
2. Tap the “+” (Add Photos) button at the bottom.
 
 
3. Choose “Files” or “Device” (depending on your phone).
 
 
4. Find the DNG file in your Downloads or Files app.
 
 
5. Tap the file to select it, then tap “Add.”
 
Step 3: Save It as a Preset
 
1. Open the imported DNG file inside Lightroom.
 
 
2. Tap the three dots (…) in the top-right corner.
 
 
3. Select “Create Preset.”
 
 
4. Name your preset (e.g., "Vintage Mood").
 
 
5. Tap “Save.”
 
Step 4: Apply the Preset to Your Photo
 
1. Open a photo in Lightroom.
 
 
2. Tap “Presets” at the bottom.
 
 
3. Select the preset you just saved.
 
 
4. Adjust if needed, then save your edited photo.
 
Note: This preset might not work on all photos depending on the lighting. Please do your own adjustments to your liking, using exposure, curves or HSL.
